🎮 **Game Title:** Friday Night Funkin' Remake (FNFR)  

👤 **Developer:** Url8com (solo dev)

FNFR is a fan-made remake of *Friday Night Funkin’*, built using [Psych Engine](https://github.com/ShadowMario/FNF-PsychEngine)—an open-source modding engine created by [ShadowMario](https://github.com/ShadowMario) and the FNF community.

🧪 A **custom engine** is currently in development and will replace Psych Engine in future updates.  

It’s not used yet because it’s still being set up and tested alongside both Psych Engine and the original FNF source code to ensure full compatibility and performance.

👤 This is a **solo project**, and I do everything—from coding and design to testing and publishing—under the name **Url8com**.

🚀 **How to Run FNFR**

Just download the ZIP file and run `Launcher.exe`. The launcher will:

- Automatically install the game if it's missing

- Check for updates every time you launch

- Download only missing or outdated files

- Support **offline mode** if all required files are already installed

- Install any missing parts of the game individually

This is an **early demo** and includes remakes of original songs.  

I'm currently working on a **test song** to help with engine setup and gameplay balancing—especially for easier difficulty modes.

🧩 **Update System**

FNFR will eventually have two update paths:

- **Normal Side**: Includes original updates and easier access to official content

- **Custom Side** *(coming soon)*: Will feature custom updates and new content made specifically for FNFR  

  *(Note: The custom side is not available yet.)*

🧪 **Testing & Admin**

[Ninjamuffin99](https://ninja-muffin24.itch.io/) is listed as an **admin tester** for FNFR. He will help test levels and provide feedback on what needs to be added or changed to improve the experience and keep it close to the original FNF style.
